Noah has been such a happy boy lately . . . smiling and "talking" all the time now. Cole gets such a kick out of making him laugh, and it sure is cute to watch :)

Brian created a chore chart for Cole to help him keep his room clean and to give him an opportunity for a little allowance each week. Cole really gets into it and loves getting the stars!

My Boys

The last few nights I have taken the boys for a ride together in their double stroller. Cole absolutely loves having his brother ride right next to him, and Noah enjoys just being able to see everything. When Noah gets a little older, I will have to look into a double jogging stroller :)

Cole sure loves his brother! He is always giving him hugs and kisses. He is very protective of him too. Noah is still having alot of problems with his reflux and related symptoms. We saw the specialist again today and are switching to an even more elemental formula and have increased his prevacid dose. We're hopeful that these measures will finally give him some sustained relief. He is such a sweet baby!

This is what happens when I am feeding the baby. Cole was pretty pleased with himself :)

Ever since Noah first came home from the hospital, Cole has called him "Mr. Buddy," and the name has kind of stuck now. Noah is feeling so much better these days and is such a delightful baby. He coos and smiles all the time, which is such a joy to see! He is so adaptable too, which must come with being the second child :) Cole absolutely can't wait for Noah to get big enough to play with him . . . he is always talking about things they can do together when Noah gets bigger, like play cars or take a bath or share a muffin or wrestle on the bed. They will surely be best friends :)
Cole still insists on being called "Ming Ming," a character from a show he occasionally watches called "The Wonder Pets." He even makes Noah and I be characters as well . . . Noah is Tuck and I am Linny. When people ask him his name, he always says, "Ming Ming," and I have stopped trying to explain. He really does have quite an imagination :) He also loves playing with his cars, and yesterday he wanted to get in the crib with his cars, and I came back to find them lined up almost all the way around the crib. Cole really is a sweet little boy, always concerned for and very gentle with his little brother, and so kind to me as well. If ever I am not smiling, he says, "Mommy, be happy; don't be sad." I am so blessed to have such a wonderful little boy!
